APOLLO Concealed Fan Coil

The APOLLO Concealed FCU is a hidden fan coil installed above a ceiling or soffit. It uses a fan and hydronic coil to heat or cool room air, connecting to hot or chilled water from a heat pump, boiler, or chiller.

It pulls return air from the room, moves it across a hot-water or chilled-water coil, then sends conditioned air through a short duct or outlet plenum. Water temperature, water flow, and fan speed determine output.

Estimated coverage guidance is 400–900 ft² for 1.5 Ton, 1,000–1,700 ft² for 3.5 Ton, and 1,700–2,800 ft² for 6 Ton. Actual sizing depends on insulation, layout, climate, ceiling height, duct design, water temperature, and heat loss.

Yes. It is intended for horizontal above-ceiling or soffit installation. Plan service access so filters, piping, wiring, and condensate components remain reachable.

Yes. Selectable 2-pipe and 4-pipe variants connect to hydronic air-to-water heat pumps. Two-pipe systems share one hot-or-chilled loop; four-pipe systems use separate hot and chilled circuits.

Both. Hot water provides heating and chilled water provides cooling. Performance depends on entering water temperature, water flow, controls, and hydronic design.

A concealed FCU hides equipment and uses short ducting or grilles. A wall FCU is usually fastest to retrofit, a floor FCU sits low on a wall or floor, and a ceiling cassette mounts in the ceiling and distributes air in multiple directions.

Yes. Most installations use short supply and return ducting or an outlet plenum. This is local zone distribution, not whole-house ductwork.

It supports standard 24VAC FCU thermostats. Thermostat and wiring must match selected model, fan-speed setup, and hydronic layout; confirm requirements before wiring.
