No — PRO is a traditional, non-gasification wood boiler. It's the simpler, lower-cost option in MBTEK's wood-boiler line, built for buyers who want reliable off-grid heat without gasification-level controls.

Does PRO need electricity?

No. PRO is the only wood boiler in MBTEK's line that runs with zero electrical draw — it needs no controller, fan, or power supply, which makes it a fit for off-grid sites or areas prone to power outages.

Can PRO burn coal or briquettes?

Yes — PRO burns wood, coal, or briquettes, giving it more fuel flexibility than MBTEK's other wood-boiler families, which are wood-only.

Which PRO model should I choose?

PRO 11 covers up to 1,500 ft², and PRO 30 covers up to 3,000 ft². Choose based on your building's heating load — final sizing should account for heat loss, insulation, and climate.

Can PRO provide domestic hot water?

Yes — PRO can supply domestic hot water alongside space heating when paired with an indirect water heater tank such as the APOLLO DHW80.
